Connect Claude web and desktop
Add Vitrina as a custom connector in Claude.ai or Claude Desktop.
You connect Vitrina once per workspace, with the same steps in Claude.ai (the browser) and in Claude Desktop. You copy no secret: the only thing that travels from Vitrina to Claude is an address.
Claude's menus are named in whatever language your Claude is set to. Vitrina's screens are Spanish, so they're quoted here as you'll see them, with an English gloss underneath.
Connecting
Open Claude's connectors
In Claude.ai: your profile picture, bottom left → Customize → Connectors, or straight to claude.ai/customize/connectors. In Claude Desktop: the Claude menu → Settings… → Connectors.
It is your account's settings, not the chat's.
Choose "Add custom connector"
It's at the end of the connector list. Give it a name you'll recognise; Vitrina works.
Paste the address
https://api.vitrinadev.com/mcpExactly that, complete, with no spaces. Claude calls it, gets back a 401 telling it where Vitrina's authorization server is, and builds the rest of the flow from there by itself.
Sign in to Vitrina
Claude opens a Vitrina window. Sign in with the same account you use in the application.
If you have more than one workspace, check which one is active first. The connection is created in that one and can't be moved afterwards.
Review the permissions and press Permitir
The screen tells you who is asking, from where, and what it will be able to read:

Claude wants to connect to Vitrina. Metrics and reports: conversations, contacts, leads and tickets; service and AI-agent metrics; the calendar and the appointments; and your catalogue or stock. Read-only: the application can never write, edit or delete anything, nor send messages to your customers.
Below there is a checkbox, off by default:
Incluir costos, márgenes y comisiones (datos económicos)
Include costs, margins and commissions (economic data)
Tick it only if you want Claude to answer about what you paid for each unit, your margins and your team's commissions. Leave it unticked and those tools don't exist for the connection at all.
Then press Permitir, which is Allow.
Switch it on in the conversation
Going back to Claude isn't enough: a connector is switched on per conversation, in the chat's connector picker. With Vitrina on, ask it for the count of unanswered leads.
Where the connection lives
In Vitrina, under Connections → MCP → Aplicaciones conectadas. The row carries the application's name, what access it has, who authorised it and when it was last used.
Disconnecting there cuts the access immediately: the credential stops working on the next call and its renewal is burnt. Claude can't recover it on its own either. To come back, authorise again from Claude; the costs checkbox starts out unticked.
Trap
Disconnecting in Claude and revoking in Vitrina are not the same
Removing the connector from Claude's list stops it being used, but the authorisation still exists on Vitrina's side until you disconnect it in «Aplicaciones conectadas». If what you want is to really cut off access (you left the company, a laptop went missing), the button that matters is Vitrina's.
If you do not see "Connectors" in Claude Desktop
It's an old version of the application. Update it and look again under Settings…. In the browser the screen is at claude.ai/customize/connectors and doesn't depend on any version.
Claude Code and Cursor do not use this screen: they have their own flow, in Claude Code and Cursor.
